Diagnostic performance of 3T stress magnetic resonance myocardial perfusion imaging (MRMPI) using 32-channel cardiac coil in patients with coronary artery disease
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background/aim With newly available 32-channel cardiac coil, 3 tesla MRI system provides increased signal-to-noise radio (SNR), reduced imaging time and improved spatial resolution. This study sought to determine the diagnostic performance of 3T stress MRMPI with 32-channel cardiac coil in detecting clinical relevant coronary artery stenosis in comparison with invasive coronary angiography (ICA).

Comparison of exercise electrocardiography with magnetic resonance myocardial perfusion imaging and computed tomography coronary angiography in patients with suspected coronary artery disease
Purpose: To investigate the relationship between exercise electrocardiography (X-ECG) and functional and anatomical imaging modalities for the diagnostic evaluation of patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods: Patients (n=71 mean age 54 ± 9; 68% male) with chest pain and without prior history of CAD underwent X-ECG, adenosine stress and rest magnetic resonance myocardial p...

Purpose: To assess the relationship between the severity of coronary arteries involvement and the extent and pattern of myocardial scars in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance of patients with history of remote myocardial infarction. Materials and Methods: The Cardiac Magnetic Resonance images of sixty patients with history of remote ST segment or non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction were ...
متن کاملCoronary magnetic resonance angiography combined with stress-perfusion and delayed-enhancement magnetic resonance imaging for the detection of occult coronary artery disease in asymptomatic individuals
Methods Three hundred forty-one self-referred asymptomatic subjects were enrolled in this study. CMRA image quality and factors affecting image quality were evaluated using a 1.5-T scanner with a 32-channel cardiac coil. Coronary artery stenosis, regional wall motion abnormalities, myocardial perfusion abnormalities, and delayed myocardial enhancement were analyzed. The occurrence of new chest ...
متن کاملQualitative and semi-quantitative evaluation of myocardium perfusion with 3 T stress cardiac MRI
BACKGROUND 3 T MRI has been adopted by some centers as the primary choice for assessment of myocardial perfusion over conventional 1.5 T MRI. However, there is no data published on the potential additional value of incorporating semi-quantitative data from 3 T MRI. This study sought to determine the performance of qualitative 3 T stress magnetic resonance myocardial perfusion imaging (3 T-MRMPI...
متن کاملCoronary artery calcium (CAC) score – a prognostic tool in coronary artery disease?
Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of measurement of coronary artery calcification score (CAC) in patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD) and a normal myocardial perfusion scan. Methods: In a prospective study we measured the calcium score of 74 patients (29 m, 45 f, mean age 58.7 (m) and 64.4 (f)) with suspicion of CAD and a normal perfusion scan. In ...
